I have been having my dental work done by Dr. Don Miller and his associates at Arbour Lake Dental Care for more than 30 years. I have had several cavities filled and crowns installed. I also get my dental hygiene checks done regularly by Dr. Miller and his associates. Dr. Don and Ian Miller are friendly efficient and highly professional in their work and relationship with me. They listen carefully to my concerns and respond in a friendly and courteous manner with some occasional humour as well. They explain the issues on hand and offer details of treatment options. The hygienists and assistants of Dr. Miller I have seen in particular Sukhman and Karen have also demonstrated friendly courteous and professional work practice; they too have provided professional advice on dental hygiene and health and answered well my many questions. Dr. Miller and his staff are friendly prompt and punctual. They have kindly offered instalment plans to pay large bills. I am happy with the positive experiences I have had at Arbour Lake Dental Care and highly recommend Dr. Miller and his associates to anyone without any reservations.

У меня двойное впечатление об этой клинике вроде бы все хорошо и персонал заботливый. Но у меня был горький опыт с одним из докторов. Для того чтоб полечить 4 очень маленьких дырочки он вколол мне 3 больших замораживающих укола и делал это неаккуратно я чувствовала как у меня заморозился глаз нос и лоб и он хотел вколоть четвертый укол я его остановила потому что это было слишком. Меня всю трусило я заплакала и отказалась лечиться у этого доктора. 75 часов мое лицо было заморожено а потом когда все оттаяло в моем рту было очень много ран. 2 недели я не могла нормально кушать потому что я чувствовала боль внутри рта. Но зуб все равно нужно было лечить поэтому я снова пошла в клинику но уже к другому доктору. Мне дали очень хорошего ассистента ее зовут Лена она говорит на русском она объяснила новому доктору мои пожелания и в этот раз все прошло благополучно.

I have been going to Arbour Lake for years. I see Dr. Chris and he is amazing. I have had some traumatic dental experiences (other offices) in the past that have left me very fearful and anxious of any dentist. Due to this fear I can be a 'not so nice person' when at the dentist. Dr. Chris and Jen have dealt with my 'mean girl' behavior numerous times and still welcomed me back warmly. Dr. Chris is patient caring and takes A LOT of extra time with me discussing things and making me feel better about any/all procedures. Jen is the nicest person on the planet and she is always available to talk to. I totally recommend this office especially if you struggle with trusting a dentist or have any fear due to past experiences. I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for me over the years.

After many years I decided it's time to treat myself to a smile that would make me proud and not so self conscious. With the help of the Arbour Lake Care dental team we came up with a plan that would work well with my circumstances. For being a busy clinic I never felt rushed. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Don Miller is absolutely incredible and gave me the smile I've waited my whole life for! For anyone on the fence I would recommend just do it! Thank you to the team at Arbour Lake Dental and by the way I should mention that they offer sedation for the nervous patients. It really works! All in all I'm a very happy lady! 😊

I am always pleased with the service and the work that this clinic has done for me! Diane did a fabulous job cleaning and teaching me what I have to do to keep on track and do better. She was amazing. I have been going to this dental clinic for many many years and I wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else! I really like this dental office that I just switched to. The hygienist Pascal is great! He found an issue that could have caused big problems down the road that my past four people from other dental offices were unable to catch. Dr. D. Miller is very patient knowledgable and has a good sense of humor. Dr. C. Miller is very direct and effective/efficient. All of the dental admins I have dealt with there do their best to provide the best information possible at any given time along with providing it in a pleasant manner.

I am a newer patient at Arbour Lake Dental and I have to say I’m very impressed. I have seen a few of the dentists there as well as several of the hygienists and everybody is kind and professional moreover they all seem to enjoy working there. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. The care I have received has been top-notch. The pricing is very reasonable. I’m a fan! I would recommend Arbour Lake Dental to any of my friends or family. I don’t do well at the dentist. But they make me feel comfortable. I’ve gotten things done at the dentist at when I was younger. You wouldn’t get me close to a dentist. I just had all my teeth out what I had left waiting to get my dentures Ended up with dry socket They got me in immediately help fix the problem. If I have any more problems all I have to do is call great bunch of people I’ve been with them Since 2000

Excellent experience. I had never been at Arbour Lake Dental before. Emergency event. Got in right away. Dr Miller explained the operations available to address the chipped tooth. I selected bonding as the approach I wanted. Dr Miller and Holly dealt with it right away. Painless. I have never had such pleasant experience with dentists before. The entire team at Arbour Lake Dental were pleasant and very helpful.

Dr Ian Miller

General Dentist

Dr. Ian Miller, a general dentist, is a native Albertan born in Taber and has been a citizen of Calgary for the past 39 years. He attended the University of Calgary and Brigham Young University for his undergraduate programs.

While busy with studies in Calgary, he managed his time in order to play basketball for the Dinos. Dr. Miller graduated from the University of Alberta in 1977 with a D.D.S. degree.

He has been married for over 40 years and has four children and numerous grandchildren.

He enjoys the challenge of marathon races, triathlons and enjoys the demanding sports of downhill skiing and basketball.

As an accomplished equestrian Dr. Miller has competed in professional cutting horse competitions in North Western Canada and the United States.

Dr. Miller's interests also extend into the arts. He has performed as a soloist in various musical productions. Dr. Miller is active in the community volunteering his time coaching high school basketball at Bowness High for ten years, seven years as a scout leader and served as a missionary for two years in South America.

Dr. Miller has continued with his service, by setting up a free dental clinic for the homeless in downtown Calgary and currently coaches basketball at Robert Thirsk High School. Dr. Miller also speaks fluent Spanish.
Dr Christopher Miller

General Dentist

Dr. Miller, a general dentist, is a graduate of the University of Maryland at Baltimore, College of Dental Surgery.

Prior to his tenure at the University Of Maryland, he received a B.Sc. in Zoology at Brigham Young University, during which period he took a two year sabbatical for missionary service in France and consequently speaks French fluently.

A native Calgarian, Dr. Miller attended Bowness High School, where he lettered in basketball and football and in his senior year, was the school's nominee for Calgary's senior boy's award.

He is actively involved in his community in service through his church and as a basketball coach in the Silver Springs Community Basketball Association. Dr. Miller and his wife Julie are the busy parents of four boys.
Dr Donald Miller

General Dentist

Dr. Donald Miller, a general dentist, has been serving Calgarians for over 40 years. Native to Alberta and a resident of North West Calgary, Dr. Donald Miller is actively involved in community service through coaching in high school athletics, the Boy Scouts and various Church programs. He also played a vital role in the implementation of Alberta's only free dental clinic for the homeless, located in downtown Calgary. Dr. Miller graduated from Brigham Young University in 1970 with a BSc. in Zoology. From there, he was accepted into the Dentistry program at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated in 1974 with a D.D.S. degree..
