Overview of the Invisalign Treatment Process
The Invisalign treatment process at Arbour Lake Dental Care is easy to integrate into your lifestyle.
Step 1
Book Your First
Consultation
Step 1 is is to book and appointment during which we will examine your smile to determine if Invisalign is a fit for you. During the same appointment, we take a 3D scan of your smile and virtually design your new smile.
Step 2
Develop Your Custom
Treatment Plan
Nest, based on the decisions made in your first appointment, we will develop out a precise treatment plan with timelines. Your plan will include the exact movement of your teeth that will occur with each set of Invisalign aligners.
Step 3
Start Your
Invisalign Treatment
You'll be provided with a series of clear Invisalign aligners and you will wear them each day, removing them to eat, drink, brush and floss. The aligners will gradually begin to shift your teeth.
Step 4
Switch Your Aligners
Every 2 Weeks
You'll switch to the next set of clear aligners every two weeks approximately. We will also schedule brief checkups every 6 weeks or so to review your progress.
Step 5
Maintain Your
Brand New Smile
During your final appointment, we will discuss next steps with you. This will include prescribing retainers to keep your teeth in their new positions.
